Both can reduce routine running cost, but charging access and CNG station convenience are different ownership habits.

The access test
An EV needs dependable charging where you park or on a proven weekly routine. Factory CNG needs a station that is low-diversion at the times you actually travel, including queues.
The practicality test
Check CNG boot space with your real luggage and check an EV's route range with passengers, air-conditioning and highway speed in mind. Neither headline claim replaces this check.
