Map the real refuelling routine
Check the stations on routes you already drive, at the times you actually need fuel. Queue length, detours and station reliability are ownership inputs, not minor details.
Inspect the compromise in person
Bring the luggage, passenger or work equipment you usually carry. Check boot use, spare-wheel arrangement, cabin response and petrol fallback operation in the exact model.
